Working closely with our Pharmacy Manager, as a Pharmacy Technician you will have defined responsibilities including providing in house pharmacy services, procurement, distribution, stock taking and the replenishment of pharmacy items to wards and departments, evaluation, final accuracy checks and dispensing.

For this role, NVQ Level 3 Pharmacy service or equivalent is required. You must be registered as a Pharmacy Technician with the General Pharmaceutical Society. Experience of working in a hospital of at least 2 years is preferred or at least 5 years community experience. You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills as well as excellent IT skills. Excellent people and customer service skills are essential, as you will be working closely both with patients and the hospital team. As a highly organised and analytical individual, you will have excellent attention to detail, the ability to work to tight deadlines and manage multiple tasks.
