Main Purpose Of The Position In this challenging position, the incumbent designs, develops and implements pricing strategies to meet customers' needs while providing a profit for the organization. She or he valuates the effectiveness of pricing strategies and modifies pricing structures as needed. The successful candidate provides reporting and documentation of pricing structures ans influences governmental organizations, health care groups and trusts to make budget, reimbursement and funding decisions or usage recommendations in favour of the company's products. He or she influences organization policy or budget through arguments of product efficacy and of health economics, rather than influencing prescribing doctors directly. It is Establishing, maintaining and developing good relationships with governmental agencies, medical associations, primary care organizations and trusts to ensure company products are included in specific treatments is also part of the job. Tasks And Responsibilities
  • Managing the reimbursement procedures of CSL Behring products in collaboration with the local and regional teams
  • Preparation and follow up of reimbursement submissions for all CSL Behring products
  • Planning, coordinating, tracking and communicating effectively local requirements and submission deadlines
  • Identifying and cooperating with main regulatory administrative bodies in the Social Security Institution and the Ministry of Health
  • Being the principal point of contact for strategic advice, tactical expertise, support and implementation of all aspects of reimbursement and market access activities for CSL Turkey
  • Identifying main channels of reimbursement for CSL products and building (together with marketing and sales team) a system of prioritization and access to these channels
  • Monitoring the reimbursement framework and managing the issues of the current CSL portfolio which are available through local distribution channels or Named Patient Importation (NPI) routes
  • Management of reimbursement discounts of CSL portfolio at the best possible levels by setting the right strategies and negotiations
  • Collaborating with the local and regional regulatory & market access teams to set the best price levels for CSL portfolio
  • Establishing and maintaining relations with KOLs referred by the MoH & SSI, Technical and Administrative staff and bureaucrats in the MoH, SSI and Turkish Pharmacists’ Association (TPA) who are involved in the reimbursement & market access
  • Serving as an integrated business partner and resource for the sales team to develop and deliver comprehensive market access programs in their respective regions.
  • Adhering to relevant CSL and CSL Behring policies, guidelines and SOPs and policies
  • Supporting creation of relevant internal SOPs and reviewing of internal processes.
  • Providing regular update to management as regards change of reimbursement and healthcare policies, funding, legislations etc.
Qualifications
  • A university degree in medicine, life sciences, economics, social or political sciences or an equivalent education
  • A minimum of 5 years of professional working experience in a managerial position in the area of reimbursement/market access/governmental affairs in a multinational pharmaceutical company
  • Knowledge of healthcare economics, reimbursement and administration of the healthcare sector, of non-governmental organizations, funds etc.
  • Experience of working with patient`s associations, governmental bodies and medical associations is a plus
  • Languages: English – fluent, Turkish – native
  • IT-skills: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook (MS Office)
  • Self-driven and action oriented Personality
  • Problem-solving approach, combined with business acumen
  • Interpersonal Savvy and the ability to build peer relationships
  • Proven negotiation and presentation skills
  • Profound knowledge of process management tools and techniques
  • Travel within the region is required (app. 40% of the time)
