Flagship VL54 Inc. is looking for a highly dynamic, entrepreneurial, and creative analytical scientist to join our team.
Key Responsibilities
- Design experimental plans in coordination with Flagship VL54 Inc. team
- Implement technologies and develop novel assays
- Execute experiments, generate and analyze data, and communicate data to scientific team and executive management
- Lead and collaborate with other scientists and research associates to achieve company objectives
- Maintain and manage external research relationships with academic and/ or commercial partners
Required Skills
- Experience with biophysical, biochemical assays, cellular in-vitro assays to assess small molecule binding (e.g. surface plasmon resonance or related techniques)
- Experience with designing and running high throughput chemical screens
- Designing and building chemical libraries
- Expression and purification of membrane proteins is a plus
Minimum Qualifications
- PhD in the biological sciences or related fields
- Additional 3 years of relevant laboratory experience in industry setting strongly preferred
- Demonstrated record of success with strong publication record
- Team oriented, highly motivated, execution focused with strong work ethic, ability to thrive in an entrepreneurial and multidisciplinary environment
- Highly adaptable and responsive to technical and business opportunities and needs
