The Opportunity

We are looking for a Payer Marketing Lead, EMEA to join our dynamic team. This is a Manager level role.

Job Focus
    • The Payer Marketing Lead, EMEA is responsible for the development and implementation of key brand strategies and initiatives that are focused on the Regional payer and reimbursement environment to support the overall commercial strategy.
    • Up to 50% of the role is focused on Payer Marketing in Germany.
    • This role will be responsible for collaborating with multiple functional groups, across assigned countries, including but not limited to Marketing, Market Access, Government Affairs, Sales, Regulatory, Market Research, Analytics, Commercial Operations, Legal and Medical Affairs.

Responsibilities Will Include
  • Marketing/Brand Management:
    • Provide input to overall payer strategy, including identification of key market dynamics, critical tactical programs, and portfolio positioning and messaging for payer customers.
    • Formulate competitive payer messaging platform to effectively position LifeScan and OneTouch products within the competitive marketplace.
    • Support management by conducting analyses, synthesizing strategic inputs and providing strategic recommendations.
    • Work and manage all vendors/agencies successfully and effectively.
    • Collaborate with payer development field teams to develop new promotional initiatives to field personnel in an efficient and accurate manner.
    • Inform market access strategy development and execution across the LifeScan franchise and eventually other product areas.
    • Represent marketing function as the CC reviewer for related promotional material.
    • Responsible to help build and deliver tactics that ensure the successful execution of brand access goals.
    • Lead creation of a compelling payer value proposition that communicates clinical and value-based attributes to key payer segments and channels.
    • Lead Regional/ Country-level payer pull-through initiatives, including design and implementation of key field access tools and resources.
    • Manage agency and vendor relationships to develop promotional programs and tactics aligned with the payer/brand strategy.
    • Participate in Market Access team meetings including field sales meetings and POA meetings
    • Attend key market access, payer and professional association meetings as needed to ensure strong representation of LifeScan in coordination with market access and sales colleagues.
    • Develop and maintain a thorough, comprehensive and current understanding of the dynamics driving relevant payer Institutions.
    • Effectively manage budgets and project timelines.
    • Collaborate on the implementation and monitoring of digital campaigns in collaboration with third party vendors.
    • Collaborate on the development, implementation and monitoring of pre-launch non-personal communication initiatives with third party vendors.
    • Support and contribute to development of materials/ resources for national meetings.
    • Manage relationship with key vendors and partners.
    • Contribute to development of launch training programs and workshops in collaboration with Training.
