Responsibilities Including, But Not Limited ToMaintain comprehensive clinical knowledge of assigned therapeutic areas, and evolving clinical landscape related to our portfolioManage patient identification, diagnosis and therapy access process.Initiate and increase genetic testing to help identify patients with ultra-rare and rare diseases.Closely monitor Name Patients Programs (NPP)Perform duties around territory management and upkeep of CRM system, ensuring data accuracyIncrease disease awareness related to targeted physicians and accurately document findings appropriately in the CRMCollaborate within Medical Affairs Team to deliver focused responses to external requests for medical-scientific information regarding our client’s products/portfolioRepresent the physician/market, field perspective for use during planning and strategy meetingsCollaborate with internal cross-functional teamsEstablish and coordinate a health care partnership with relevant stakeholdersServe on cross-functional teams, as requested, for our client, as a conduit for accurate and updated medical/market communication, medical/market intelligence, emerging clinical trends, and HCP feedbackSelf-directed territory management and travel to ensure that targets are reached in an efficient mannerTechnical Requirements & SkillsBachelor's degree or credentialing in a relevant science discipline. A graduate degree is advantageous, but not essential.Passionate about helping patients to get diagnosed to gain access to the best treatmentRelevant experience in the rare disease space encompassing patient identification and establishment of KOL networks is highly desirable but not essential.Minimum of +2 years in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology or healthcare industry required. Will consider credentialed candidates with current relevant clinical experience within the rare disease space (RD, RN, GC)Proven ability to work independently as well as build rapport with cross-functional teams.Must be action-oriented, a problem solver, patient and customer focused possess excellent verbal communication and presentation skills.Bilingual- Spanish and English preferable. In Brazil: Portuguese- English.Position is field based and will require 75% travel including overnight business travel.
