Your tasks and responsibilities will include, but not limited to:
- Drive and lead scientific and medical expertise with the MSLs(TAs and products)
- MSL leadership and coaching: IPDs, Development Plans, best practice sharing, KOL engagement, presentations, etc.
- Lead skill development in KOL engagement, scientific engagement, market access medical support and other appropriate
- Ensure MSLs support the appropriate number of KOLs aligned to medical strategy
- Lead scientific engagement strategies, Disease State Education, clinical presentations and responses to medical requests (medical information)
- Ensure updates and metric reporting to medical team and, other appropriate internal stakeholders on medical community interactions
- Summarize and share relevant scientific insights from the medical community with appropriate country and global teams
- Ensure appropriate communication and strategy alignment between MSL/medical strategies and country colleagues (sales, market access)
- Lead medical support for KOL advocacy and formulary access following global and local policies and procedures
- Lead MSL support and implementation of medical activities (advisory boards, congress symposia, hospital meetings and speaker programs)
Lead & coordinate company sponsored clinical research and IIS process support within the country
- Lead and coordinate relevant country medical support for scientific meetings and conferences including summaries of key data, presentations and symposium
- Ensure compliance with applicable local and global laws, regulations, guidelines and company policies and procedures
We are looking for the following profile:
- MSc in Medical Field (e.g. Pharmacy, Nursing, Chemistry or Biology)
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience as MSL/Field Medical within pharmaceutical experience and healthcare compliance requirements locally and globally
- 3 years’ experience in leading MSL/Field Medical profiles
- Demonstrated experience in KOL, HCP or medical community engagement
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in Italian and good oral and written communication skills in English
- Strong track record in KOL engagement
- Experience in public scientific presentations
- Ability for overnight travel, up to 50% (3 days in the field and 2 days in office in Rome or home office)
