Your job role and responsibilities as Legal Manager:
  • Review and negotiation of contract terms with clients and suppliers
  • Management of existing contracts and subcontracts with clients and suppliers
  • Implement and management of standard agreements such as NDA’s and terms and conditions
  • Support and help develop the company’s commitment to corporate social responsibility practices, including the drafting, maintenance and implementation of relevant policies and procedures
  • Ensure the company manages risk  through the maintenance of appropriate insurance coverage
  • Manage the maintenance of and compliance with appropriate data privacy policies to ensure compliance with current law
  • Manage the maintenance of company and tax registrations in the UK and abroad
Your job role and responsibilities as HR Manager:
  • Administration of employee-related paperwork, such as employment contracts, new starter packs, or formal notices of termination
  • Responsibility to maintain of our HR related policies and procedures including the Employee Handbook
  • Overseeing staff attendance and absence monitoring
  • Providing detailed HR reports to senior management teams
  • Leading new starter company inductions
  • Administering financial elements such as payroll, compensation and benefits, and pension schemes
  • Handling highly confidential information in an honest and trustworthy way
Your key skills:
  • Post-graduate legal qualification or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 2-3 years experience working in an in-house or legal environment
  • Self-motivated to keep up to date with changes in the law relevant to the role
  • Solution focused, and able to think on your feet; intuitive and able to balance process vs pragmatism
  • Excellent interpersonal and personnel management skills
  • The ability to conduct yourself in an honest, conscientious and discreet manner
  • Proactive with ability to anticipate, communicate and resolve issues with minimal guidance
  • Exceptional attention to detail and thoroughness
  • Experience using Google Drive Suite, Microsoft Office and HR tools
  • Fluency in spoken and written English and have the right to work in the UK
