Description


Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To
  • Engagement with relevant internal stakeholders including Business Unit Directors, National Sales Managers and Regional Business Managers to implement a business operational program to drive the business needs and support the sales and commercialization strategy
  • Collaboration with Sales Management teams on sales planning/ steering efforts, sales potential analyses, sales performance measurement and resource allocation
  • Development of tailored dashboards/ reports to monitor performance data and track progress, ensuring they are comfortable to use and to implement for the end user
  • Definition and monitoring of KPIs for the sales team through dashboards and regular analysis of deviations to initiate corrective actions
  • Generation, processing and analysis of comprehensive sales performance data (internal/external data source)
  • Provide tailored programs for territory design and territory alignment across the different sales forces
  • Support of Business Units in preparing new product launches, especially in the field of commercialization strategies, field force sizing and planning, and multi-channel management
  • Assessment, implementation, local adaption and continuous enhancement of CRM and marketing automation systems enabling sales and marketing initiatives (e.g. multi-channel-marketing, etc.)
  • Preparation of state-of-the-art reports and presentations for senior management (e.g., for business reviews and cycle meetings)
  • Support other Operational Excellence functions (e.g. training) in technical terms and collaborate on cross-divisional departmental projects
  • Analysis of problems arising from a changed market environment with simultaneous recommendations for improvement
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as Business Analysis, Sales and Marketing, Market Access, Training and IT to support the sales results optimally
Skills/Knowledge Required
  • Strong identification with Celgene’s values
  • University degree in Business, IT, Life Science or equivalent
  • Considerable Sales/Business Analysis experience with extensive experience in the pharmaceutical/biotechnology industry
  • Consulting experience is considered a plus
  • Must have strong analytical skills
  • Apply strategic thinking and communicate highly complex analytical processes in a clear and concise manner
  • Experience in defining and measuring KPIs and providing recommendations based on findings
  • Expertise in running and maintaining different CRM systems and analysis tools, respectively
  • Ability to effectively perform all functions in adherence with legal, compliance, and regulatory guidelines in the pharmaceutical industry
  • High motivation to adapt to changing business needs and to learn and apply new techniques and state-of-the-art concepts
  • Cross-functional team player, ability to work with all levels of personnel and establish positive working relationships
  • Demonstrated ability to structure and conduct analyses to generate insight and recommendations
  • Highly energetic and proactive with proven project management skills
  • Computing/IT excellence
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in English and German
  • Strong business acumen and open mindset
