Job descriptionQualificationsYou are a capable front-end programmer who loves to write clean, effective code. You should understand how web technologies work and have a proficiency in the latest flavour of JavaScriptCommercial project experience, including working in close-knit teams (5+ years)Experience of developing complex, data-rich and highly graphical web applications using JavaScript and related frameworks, especially ReactExperience creating highly visual web apps, using D3.js or similar libraries is a plusKnowledge of industry best practices and creating reusable componentsExperience with the performance-side of browser rendering when dealing with large volumes of dataYou should be confident engaging with technical and non-technical personWHO YOU'LL WORK WITHYou’ll work within our Engineering organization on a dedicated product team building software that will be used by our extensive list of clients as well as our client delivery teams. The products we build focus on making the journey of analytics more interpretable through organisation and visualizations. Frequently you’ll find yourself working with our design and UX colleagues to help spec, build, and test new features. You’ll bring a background in end-to-end web application design and development using JavaScript MVC frameworks and best practices and patterns for modern web development.Build visually compelling, interactive web applications in JavaScript and CSSWork in a cross-functional collaborative team to build visually compelling front-ends to our data and analytics applicationsHelp build our internal frameworks and libraries, help define patterns & practices across all our projectsWork closely with the Design Team to help realise their beautiful data visualisations and user interfacesAct as a bridge between the Design, Engineering and Data Science Team
