Description


ResponsibilitiesSupports the Human Resources function and serves as point of contact for all HR inquiriesProvides guidance and support to employees and handles day-to-day employment issuesImplements HR policies, procedures, and processes, including identifying necessary enhancementsConducts New Hire orientation and on boardingManages the separation process and conducts exit interviews when appropriateOrganizes and maintains employee records and dataPrepares and maintains employee reports and completes verification of employment requests (VOEs)Prepares and distributes communications and tools related to the Performance Development Process. Works with managers and employees to answer questions and complete the process according to established timelines.As first point of contact, evaluates employee relations issues and meets with managers and employees to determine effective resolutions; proactively escalates critical issue as appropriate.Partners with HR Leadership and with RSM, the outsourced HR vendor for Europe, to manage benefits, address day-day questions, and manage leaves of absenceSupports Facilities to ensure a safe and enjoyable work environment that reflects the Zogenix company culturePartners with HR leadership to manage recruiting in Europe. Including preparation of job descriptions, coordinating the approval processes, interview scheduling and offers.Works with payroll to ensure employee data is aligned and maintained accuratelyProvides compensation input and manages salary surveysEducation And ExperienceMinimum Job QualificationsBachelor’s degree required;5+ years of progressive HR experience ideally in Life SciencesKnowledge, Skills And AbilitiesAbility to navigate a highly collaborative environment where communication and flexibility are essentialPC proficiency in Microsoft office software is requiredGood writing, analytical and problem?solving skillsKnowledge of principles and practices of organization, planning, records management and general administrationDemonstrated ability to communicate effectively with excellent customer service focusAbility to demonstrate professional discretionAbility to multi-task and prioritize effectivelyMust possess a strong commitment to high quality workmanship and team spiritExperience in biotech or pharmaceutical industry preferredSeniority LevelAssociateIndustryBiotechnologyHospital & Health CarePharmaceuticalsEmployment TypeFull-timeJob FunctionsHuman Resources
