Undergone a project on \\\"Influence of Spirulina supplement on Aluminum-Chloride induced hematological changes, hepatotoxicity and neurotoxicity in male wistar rats\\\".

Project description: Aluminum has adverse effects on human and animal health. Oral exposure is the main route by which human population are exposed to ‘Al\\\' from various sources such as corn, yellow cheese, cosmetics, aluminium ware and preparation and storage of food in aluminium vessels, cans and foil. Among aluminium salts as a consequent aluminium-chloride is selected. According to literature review, it is known to cause various effects such as neurotoxicity, hepatotoxicity, anemia, retinal and renal toxicities and Spirulinas is known to have protective effect on various toxicities. Hence, an attempt is made to study the protective effect of Spirulina as a dietary supplement to alleviate the toxicities of Aluminium.
