Primary purpose and function of this position: The purpose of the Psychiatry Specialty Sales is to increase sales and market share in their assigned geographic and therapeutic areas.

Successful interaction with healthcare professionals and other designated decision makers is a primary responsibility.

Utilizing all available Sales and Marketing resources is a key expectation.

Responsibilities

Delivers sales results via calls on targeted physicians in assigned territory to implement sales, marketing and patient support programs to get and keep patients on Teva Psychiatry products.

Trains and educates physician support staff on the proper use, handling and administration of Teva Psychiatry products.

Assures that healthcare professionals have realistic expectations concerning the use of Teva Psychiatry products with their patients.

Maintains communication and integrates activities, when appropriate, with Professional Education and Account Management. Identifies customer changes and ensures, through coordinated communication and planning, that appropriate people and financial resources are allocated to address the change.

Territory consists of all of Staten Island, part of Brooklyn NY / everything east of Prospect Park

Qualifications

Bachelor Degree

5 years pharmaceutical sales experience , psych/CMHC experience preferred

Must live within territory boundary

Comply with all credentialing requirements for any healthcare institution, which is part of the field associate call plan, including, among other things, routine criminal background checks, National Sex Offender Registry checks, medical testing (i.e., TB test), proof of immunizations, training on facility policies and adherence to confidentiality and/or HIPAA agreements Ideal candidate will have Psychiatry experience calling on out-patient and in-patient facilities. Candidates with successful track record will be considered- must be multiple President Club winner to receive serious consideration. Specialty Pharmacy experience is highly desired.
