Description


Drives motivation of sales force towards brand aspiration (cycle and launch meetings) Develops and implements Country Brand Plan in full congruence with International Brand Plan Designs and executes promotional activities (detail aids, message scripts, advertising, congresses, etc.) in line with international branding and key messages Develops Long Range Plan with Business Planner Proposes national sales target and achieves agreement with Business Unit Leader and Sales/District Managers Partners with international PM Analyses market research and develops POA Coordinates competitive intelligence and drives competitive action plans Partners with the Medical Affairs Manager to optimize the brand performance (goals of clinical trials, KOL development, etc.) Agrees with other PM in Franchise Team on joint projects Recruits and manages external vendors Identifies business opportunities and develops business cases Qualifications The knowledge and skills necessary to perform the duties of this position are typically acquired through the following combination of education, experience and knowledge, or the equivalent. Minimum Requirements Ability to innovate and impress 5 to 8 years of experience in industry 2 years of experience as a Product Manager Fluency in English, both oral and written communications Financial And Budgeting Skills And Experience Documented track record of product launch Computer skills (MS Office programs) Tenure at last two jobs for at least 2 years each Preferred Requirements 4 years in big pharmaceutical companies Documented experience in Franchise area (Bone& Nephrology) Documented success in maintaining market leadership position Academic education related to the posted job Competencies Applies project management skills Applies advanced analytical skills Demonstrates strong industry knowledge and commercial attitude Examines and understands issues from multiple perspectives or points of view, readily sees inter-relationships and cause and effect relationships; takes a systematic approach to successfully resolving all issues Demonstrates networking capabilities Applies advanced communication and presentation skills Serves as a role model and resource to others in promoting open, honest and cooperative relationships throughout the organization Displays strong organizational and time management skills; multi-tasks effectively; delivers on commitments in a timely manner Takes initiative and acts pro-actively, enthusiastically and creatively Demonstrates open-mindedness and helicopter view capabilities Communicates effectively at all levels both internally and externally, and (inter-) nationally Serves as a role model for Amgen Values Accountabilities to Business Unit Director Maximizes the brand potential at national level Executes Country Operating Plan Delivers branding campaign in line with international guidance
