Description

• Enhancing awareness on Compliance related MSD’s values and Standards and Compliance Policies, SOPs and Guidance.
• Taking a strong and active role in ensuring consistent and effective compliance standards.
• Supporting the implementation of new and operation of existing tracking /monitoring systems (e.g. Pulse, ABC, Hiperos, Veeva);
• Drafting and implementing local policies and procedures; Managing implementation of changes, training preparation on new and revised SOPs, documenting training and ensuring attendance sheets for training are tracked and stored appropriately.
• Maintaining a central repository of Local GCC Compliance policies, guidance, best practices, SOPs;
• Provide guidance to Business Stakeholders, including

• Coordinating/consolidating Annual plans of Grants, International Sponsorships, and Sponsorship to institution and obtaining necessary approvals.
• Coordinate and Contribute to the PULSE review activities.
• Facilitating/supporting face-to-face compliance training to employees, keeping a log of all compliance training provided.
• Supporting preparation of compliance messages and developing local plan through Managing Director and the leadership team; Ensuring tone at the top messages are documented and tracked within the Ethics and Compliance Communications Tracker.
• Being the main Point of Contact for Self-Audit processes

• Oversite and control small meetings data.
• Collecting data and preparing reports for GLT, SALT, Regional HQ (i.e. Small Meetings Summary; Compliance Highlights, Scorecard, etc.)

• Project Management Excellent organizational and project management skills to manage and oversee the timely implementation of Compliance projects and activities.
• Regulatory and Legal Knowledge In depth knowledge and comprehensive understanding of the core elements of an effective compliance program including relevant laws and regulations related to sales and marketing, in particular, relevant anti-corruption and anti-bribery laws is preferred.
• Ability to travel around 30% to support all GCC.

• Legal, Compliance, Finance, or Audit background.
• Bachelor Degree is the minimum degree requirement.
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
• Ability to lead project teams and manage project implementation.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to assess potential risks.
• Strong collaboration and influencing skills with cross-functional teams and leaders.
• Excellent listening skills and sound judgment.
• Prefer pharmaceutical industry experience or experience working in a highly regulated industry.
• Language – Must be fluent in English.
