Essential Functions
  • At least 2 years of experience and proficiency in using SQL, extracting health care data from various sources, and analyzing data into reports that are reliable and reproducible,
  • Able to independently research and analyze data from various sources, and can communicate challenges or deficiencies identified to team
  • Able to effectively present data and provide feedback on ways to address and improve any concerns identified.
  • Review data retrieved critically and be able to evaluate data mined for accuracy and completeness.
  • Participate in the design and evaluation of reports requested.
  • Participate in meetings and communicate effectively with colleagues to understand data and reporting needs to complete projects requested
  • Create, produce, and maintain reporting outputs as defined by the Medical Informatics Department, including developing standard, automated reports.
Validate and document current reports on existing resources and document new reports created.

Other Responsibilities
  • Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets.
  • Work closely with colleagues within the Medical Informatics team and the Medical Director to share findings, collaborate on ways to improve reporting, and request information needs where needed.
  • Assist with HEDIS/QARR data needs throughout the year.
  • Assist with research projects related to evaluation of health care service utilization and outcomes.
Perform other duties as assigned.
