Description
The Payroll and A/P Specialist position oversees finance functions of accounts payable and payroll. The position will work closely with members of the Finance team and Human Resources staff as well as with external stakeholders and vendors. The position is estimated to be 80% accounts payable related and 20% payroll related. This is a new position based on growth and will report to the Accounts Payable Manager.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist with the preparation of payables on a regular basis
- Perform calculations to ensure timely vendor payments.
- Prepare information for check runs and ACH payments, ensuring that invoices have proper approvals for payment in accordance with Company
