This new Flagship Labs venture is a highly dynamic, entrepreneurial, and innovation-driven organization seeking to hire an exceptional scientist to join our team.
Key Responsibilities
- Design experimental plans in coordination with the Flagship Labs team
- Execute experiments, generate and analyze data, and communicate data to scientific team and executive management
- Lead and collaborate with other scientists and research associates to achieve company objectives
Required Skills
- Ph.D. in molecular biology, epigenetics, biochemistry, or related field
- Strong experience with molecular biology and biochemical techniques, such as molecular cloning, lentiviral packaging and transduction, immunoprecipitation, SDS-PAGE, qPCR and biochemical assays
- Experience with sequencing library preparation, DNA and bisulfite sequencing a plus
Minimum Qualifications
- PhD in the biological sciences or related fields
- Additional 3 years of relevant laboratory experience in academic or industry setting strongly preferred
- Demonstrated record of success with strong publication record
- Team oriented, highly motivated, execution focused with strong work ethic, ability to thrive in an entrepreneurial and multidisciplinary environment
