About The Role

    • Serve as key member of the EU commercialization team and contribute new ideas and approaches to help build cutting-edge commercial platforms that support our centralized marketing approach
    • Translate the global visions for the brands into actionable EU-wide marketing programs, while helping to maintain strategic focus, energizing all functional areas and stakeholders; serving as a subject matter expert for the products and the treatment landscape in our expanding EU markets.
    • Set and uphold the standard of excellence for the EU launches and communicate openly to cross functional teams, including management. Collaborates closely with the commercial excellence lead and EU trainer on the commercialization and account management model pull-through, including segmentation, positioning, profiling and KPIs
    • Foster strong partnerships with EU medical affairs, market access, key account managers, legal, regulatory, and other EU and Global functions to ensure aligned objectives and implementation of the brand strategies.
    • Support the creation of EU HCP-facing print materials for field use in collaboration with our strategic brand agency, leveraging core global brand assets including the creation and execution of marketing content in HCP-facing digital channels.
    • Lead brand planning process pull-through; achieve brand specific metrics and key performance indicators while working closely with GMs and key account managers in field and EU and Global counterparts
    • Build brand differentiation rooted in customer insights, strong understanding of customer behavior, and key barriers to adoption.
    • Understand and translate key market trends and the competitive environment to drive proactive strategies to maximize brand potential ensuring that appropriate visibility of the external market receives awareness internally.
    • Ensure the foundation for a productive dialogue about gene therapy is established in Europe, working closely with current commercial and medical team members
    • Manage external agencies to ensure excellent execution of marketing programs aligned with brand strategic imperatives.

About You

  • Bachelor's degree and at least 7 years of successful pharmaceutical and/or biotechnology sales and marketing experience; MBA or advanced degree is highly desirable.
  • In-country, Regional and Global experience required
  • Multiple language fluency highly desired
  • Strong digital marketing strategy and strong execution experience
  • At least 2 years pharmaceutical rare disease product management experience
  • Launch experience for a new product
  • Directed external agencies, vendors, and consultants in support of marketing plans and sales force needs
  • Experience in either direct or indirect management of teams
  • Thorough understanding of strategic marketing and promotional planning with pull-though to sales teams
  • Strong marketing and technical/analytical skills to identify and solve problems
  • Demonstrated ability to translate competitive knowledge and market insight into strategy and critical success factors
  • Strong leadership presence, self-awareness, self-motivation, and resourcefulness with the ability to drive results
  • Entrepreneurial spirit and a desire to work in a fast-paced, small-company environment
  • Flexibility in handling workflow in an ambiguous, time sensitive, multi-tasking environment
