Key Job Responsibilities

- Introduce SomaLogic's technology to relevant accounts, must be able to evangelize a relatively-unknown technology to result in adoption by pharma at the enterprise level
- Must be able to communicate technical data and information, both to and from accounts
- Guide customers through the deal process, from initial contact through value delivery including agreements that require data sharing resulting in content generation for SomaLogic
- Manage accounts that are already engaged with SomaLogic, maximizing value from them
- Manage multiple accounts in a relatively large territory at various stages of the cycle, from prospecting through value delivery
- Assist with preparation of sales materials and collateral
Education
Bachelor’s Degree required in the life sciences or related field; MBA, MS or PhD is a plus
Skills And Experience

- A demonstrated successful track record in pitching and completing deals with pharma, including deep contacts at the higher levels of large pharma (Senior Director, VP, SVP, C-level)
- Experience doing deals focused on a technology, preferably a platform technology, with multiple applications in pharma and other life sciences settings
- Deep knowledge of the drug discovery through drug development life cycles, and understanding of pain points such that they can be addressed with an applicable technology
- Must have demonstrated ability to manage alliances, at all levels, to ensure delivery of value, and to proliferate use of a technology deeply and broadly throughout accounts
- Experience managing negotiations and communications on multiple contracts simultaneously or interfacing with multi-disciplined teams to complete contract terms
- Ability to work independently in a rapidly evolving environment
- Preference will be given to candidates located in the Northeast region of the US

- Up to 50% travel to forge and maintain alliances; occasional international travel may be required
