Description
ENIOR SCIENTIFIC PROJECT LEADER The SPL is accountable for the scientific management of drug development integrated projects (pre-clinical and clinical Phase I-Phase III). An integrated project being defined as multi-departmental work packages including CMC and/or Pre-clinical functions. These projects may also include de-risking packages designed to characterize drug candidate before development. The SPL may also provide a high level support and supervision of various stand-alone and/or integrated projects performed for the same customer in the context of Portfolio Partners accounts. Excellent knowledge & expertise in pharmaceutical R&D and in particular in the drug development process and associated scientific and regulatory elements. Practical knowledge and expertise in CMC is mandatory, knowledge of preclinical area desirable. At least 10 years of experience in the pharmaceutical field where she/he was technically involved in development of API and/or development of solid oral dosage formulations in such roles as for example: formulation scientist, process development specialist, technical leader etc. At least 5 years of experience in more senior roles requiring management of integrated development projects (including development of API, development of solid oral dosage formulations, development and validation of analytical methods for API and drug product, clinical/GMP manufacture and release etc. ) in such roles as for example: technical project leader, scientific integration-lead, CMC coordinator, etc. Strong customer focus, through active listening so connecting the customer needs to Evotec’s solutions. Degree in Pharmacy preferred, PhD desirable Flexible and adaptable with an open minded view and creative problem solving
