The successful candidate will join our growing Global Advisory Team and will have the opportunity to be part of an entrepreneurial journey in a fast-growing private equity backed pharma focussed specialist consulting firm.
Responsibilities
The Life Sciences Analyst
will:
- Conduct primary market research with key opinion leaders and market experts
- Execute secondary research on clinical, commercial, market and geographic topics related to pharmaceutical product research, development and commercialisation
- Conduct qualitative and quantitative analyses such as benchmarking, financial modelling, etc., and determine key drivers, patterns and trends based on the results
- Create high-impact slides and presentations that tell a story to the client
- Become the ‘go-to expert’ on a workstream and communicate it effectively within the team and to the client
- Execute and complete assigned workstreams within the defined time, scope and budget

Prescient is an organisation with a global footprint and we often collaborate across offices to service our client needs. This role requires a commitment to travel to and work out of client sites/our offices as necessary.
Desired Skills and Experience
- BSc, B Tech or MSc in a life science- or biotechnology-related field from tier 1 colleges
- Strong academic track record demonstrating high levels of achievement
- 1-2 years of experience working in strategy consulting (preferably focussed on healthcare/pharmaceuticals) gained in either tier 1 consulting firms or in pharma strategy roles
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Strong proficiency with productivity tools including PowerPoint, Excel and Word
Other Requirements
- Visa eligibility, if applicable
- Ability to work in virtual teams
- Proficiency with English language; additional language skills are a plus
