Description


What you'll do:
  • Responsible for the creation, conceptualization and copywriting of campaigns;
  • Responsible for managing the work of Copywriter and Art Director teams;
  • Leads and provides creative direction and inspiration to teams;
  • Develops and writes creative copy that is innovative and compelling in line with client brand;
  • Ensures concepts and copy created by the agency are on strategy and  cost-effective to produce;
  • Works closely with in-house and freelance creative teams to develop creative concepts;
  • Oversees the development of copy for new business pitches;
  • Recommend improvements and changes to the agency’s processes and procedures and employ best practices;
  • Develop and grow the skills and experience of the creative team members and seek and hire new talent as required;
  • Ensures concepts, rounds and final copy are correct and error free, including grammar, terminology, and spelling.
  • Collaborates with Strategic Planning to incorporate consumer insights into concepts and executions.
  • Contributes to the development and maintenance of Rauxa’s creative culture.
Who you are:
  • Strong understanding of integrated direct marketing principles;
  • Strong understanding of strategic direction;
  • Excellent conceptual and copywriting skills;
  • Excellent knowledge of client business and creative landscape;
  • Proven staff management skills with experience in handling direct reports;
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and simultaneously handle multiple projects with total accuracy and attention to detail;
  • Work well as a team player in a flexible, dynamic and fast-paced environment;
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills;
  • Excellent visual and verbal communication skills;
  • Highly motivated self-starter with a can-do attitude.
  • Education/Experience:
  • Bachelor of Journalism, English or equivalent work experience;
  • Minimum of 7 years experience as integrated marketing copywriter;
  • Robust cross-channel portfolio with a focus on direct marketing campaigns.
