Working with ANZ management (sales, solutions, business development) to identify and create project strategies and drive new business opportunities across Clarivate Analytics’ ANZ business units
Developing a tracking mechanism for competitive and opportunity analysis, and a process for maintaining and distributing this information across the team
Researching market and industry trends and keeping up with key industry sector strategies
Working closely with the sales teams to identify sales and services that would appeal to existing and new clients and supporting execution
Identify potential decision makers in the academic, government and innovation-focused industries in ANZ and aligning their business requirements with Clarivate’s solutions
Leveraging and growing contact networks to drive new opportunity and insight
Helping actively identify business opportunities through the tendering process
Help prepare and present proposals and tender responses that speaks to the client's needs, concerns, and objectives
Project management across multiple teams and timezones
Arranging business meetings and one-on-one conversations with prospective clients
Cultivating positive interactions and relationships with sales representatives, team leaders and managers, and executives to evaluate sales strategy and results
Developing ways to improve the customer experience and build brand loyalty
Requirements And Qualifications
A university degree in data management, business or science or up to 3 years experience working in sales, project management or consulting role
A commercial awareness and technical appreciation of the Scientific Information industry and/or and understanding government (state and federal) operations is preferred
Project Management qualifications are desirable
Demonstrated experience crafting strategic business development solutions and plans and working with sales team to execute in a fast paced environment
Ability to build and maintain relationships with existing and prospective customers
Experience working with excel or a software analysis package for insight
Outstanding oral and written communication skills, including the ability to communicate easily and interpersonally with senior decision makers
Capable of thinking creatively and making independent decisions
Well organised and disciplined with regards to time management and adhering to policy, procedure and standards
Confident, outgoing personality
Proficient computer skills, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel), particularly with respect to Excel.
