Description


The Role Reporting to the MES / Systems Manager you will work with in a team that supports and engineers IT Automation Infrastructure based on Windows, Cisco, Siemens and VMWare technologies. Role requirement includes:
  • Support capital project teams in the, development, integration, test and acceptance of the automation scope of capital projects.
  • Implement MES, Historian, Cyber Security, Thin Client, Network, Virtualisation solution for the Automation Environment.
  • Conducting preventative maintenance and troubleshooting complex computer / automation systems.
  • Providing Operational Support of the Manufacturing Automation Computer Systems
  • Flexibility in working hours to meet business needs. After hours availability and on call is expected in support of manufacturing.
  • Pharmaceutical experience is a requirement with a good knowledge of GMP principles.
Qualifications & Experience:
  • Degree in the discipline of computer science, computer systems engineering or a similar field with a focus on controls, automation or IT.
  • Significant experience in the design, development, installation, commissioning and/or servicing of information technology and automation process control systems
  • Knowledge of Windows command line tools: Power Shell, Scripting, Task Automation (MCSE or MCSA ideal)
  • Knowledge of database management including: SQL Server and ORACLE
  • Knowledge administrating one or more of the following: Citrix, VMWare, Microsoft Server OS, Active Directory, Group Policies, Igel Thin Client solutions
  • Proven project execution skills including document development and software implementation.
