Principal Responsibilities:?
  • Partners with business leaders to develop and implement new business strategies and initiatives to drive profitable sales, improve patient experience and loyalty, and gain market share.
  •  Identifies, develops and drives innovative Pharmacy initiatives to grow script count across the country.
  • Responsible for supporting the company to achieve and surpass sales, profitability, cash flow and business goals and objectives through operational excellence.
  • Relentless in continuous improvement methodologies and practices that improve the efficiency and harmonization of all pharmacy operations.
  • Responsible for the measurement and effectiveness of all processes internal and external. Provides timely, accurate and complete reports on the operating condition of the business segment.
  • Engage with various stakeholders to integrate operational pharmacy services into seamless care delivery processes across the care continuum.
  • Responsible for assessing external pharmacy industry trends and developments that represent risk and opportunities.
  • Operationalize the development, communication and implementation of effective strategies and processes to support growth
  • Lead complex processes with Finance and IT to set up, plan, identify, resolve issues and manage multiple P&L’s
  • Trains, develops, assesses and manages direct reports. Offers consistent and timely feedback to direct reports.
Required Skills:
  • Bachelor of Pharmacy (licensed Pharmacist) or related degree required.
  • 10+ years of experience in strategic planning, sales and marketing in the pharmaceutical sector
  • Strong understanding of the competitive dynamics of the retail pharmacy sector.
  • Excellent time management, planning and organizational skills. Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment, manage multiple priorities and make ongoing decisions. Strong project management, organizational and analytical skills.
  • Demonstrated consumer research experience (qualitative and quantitative).
  • Experience managing sophisticated sets of data and deriving insights from it.
  • Strategic and analytical thinker, with the ability to look into the details and interpret the impact of key business drivers. Superior problem solving and decision-making skills. Strong financial acumen coupled with broad business/operations experience.
  • Proven track record in driving strategies to execution for major pharmacy and/or healthcare business strategic priorities.
  • Proven track record in ability to formulate solid strategy using sound business cases.
  • Experience in driving strategic initiatives successfully through the various enterprise governance processes.
  • Flexible, creative approach to business, an understanding of risk assessment and the ability to modify his/her experience and knowledge base to adapt the organization and the circumstances.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including sharing ideas and information across diverse audiences and making presentations to drive business decisions. Confident and able to be influential and assertive.
  • Experience managing large, cross-functional projects.
  • Expert level knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint and demonstrated experience in modeling, analysis, and presentation creation.
