Job Duties Include
  • Prepare the operational plan that utilizing NITs to help identify and diagnose patients with advanced fibrosis due to NASH.
  • Support the creation and implementation of Gilead’s communication strategy for Physicians, and other key stakeholders that will play a role in ensuring patients are identified and referred to the liver specialist.
  • Closely partners with global/regional/affiliate cross functional teams and external organizations to develop the following activities:
    • NIT key message platform + Lexicon
    • Diagnosis Education – programs to support developing knowledge amongst referring physicians
    • NIT Competitive Intelligence
    • Collaborations – working with external diagnostic organizations
    • Understanding and providing input into the analytics / insights
  • Leads promotion review committee to ensure marketing promotional materials and activities are cleared for promotional use.
  • Analyzes complex problems and situations and provides logical recommendations and leads any required action planning.
  • Sets priorities in circumstances of continued complexity and conflicting requirements.
  • Provides strategy on key planning teams such as: conventions, sales meetings, sales training and medical education programs.
  • Manages the professional marketing budget and project timelines.
  • Manages agency relationships to develop promotional deliverables.
  • Run advisory boards in conjunction with medical department.
  • Establishes strong working relationships with key opinion leaders which can influence the utilization of NIT’s in policy/protocol position.
  • Ensures that all marketing activities are in compliance with regulatory and legal requirements. A strategic thinker with the ability to formulate, develop and execute operational marketing strategies that take into account different country situations often starting from a blank sheet of paper. Strong interpersonal skills are needed with the ability to lead, interact with, focus, resolve conflict and drive consensus among individuals from a variety of cultures, and disciplines. Excellent presentation skills for a broad audience including senior management.
