General Responsibilities
Being the fully responsible brand lead and living the Vertex values: driving all brand related commercial activities through innovation and fearless pursuit of excellence; energizing the x-functional team and fostering teamwork; ensuring that all activities show our commitment to patients.
Ensure that commercial brand objectives are met based on excellent market und customer understanding and activities that meet external customer needs.

Key Responsibilities
Market analysis and insights: continuous detailed in depth analysis of the Cystic Fibrosis (CF) market, customer needs and the brand situation based on excellent market analysis skills.
Innovation in brand planning and execution: based on critical success factors identified, develop and implement the brand plan that leverages multiple innovative channel to achieve our business goals based on external customer needs.
Continuous pursuit of brand excellence: constantly browse for new innovative approaches, define and continuously monitor meaningful KPIs to evaluate plan progress and success. If necessary adjust plan and activities based on the results.
Ensure compliance of all activities to the Vertex code of conduct, SOPs and all applicable laws and regulations. Administer approval of initiatives and materials according to SOPs in ZINC and other compliance systems.
Reporting: track progress and impact of initiatives towards brand objectives in particular uptake, persistency and compliance. Develop and regularly provide brand reports to senior management and the x-functional brand team in cooperation with finance and business analytics functions.
Financial Brand Management: Contribute to accurate budgeting and forecasting as well as being responsible for the management of the promotional budget.
External focus and customer understanding: develop and maintain strong working relationships with key customers and work with an
