Description


A full-service Medical Communications agency (which is part of a large global network) is looking for an experienced Medical Writer to join its team in London.You will play an integral role in the delivery of a range of medical education projects.You will be involved in a variety of projects from the initial development stages through to content development and delivery.You will write and proofread a full range of materials and you will be responsible for ensuring all content is delivered in-line with the project brief, budget and schedule.You will also be responsible for delegating work to junior colleagues and providing support and guidance to ensure adherence to set deadlines and strict editorial standards.To be considered for this position you must have the experience and confidence to liaise directly with pharmaceutical clients and clinical opinion leaders to take briefs and develop content.In addition, you must be a highly organised individual with experience of effectively managing multiple projects and demanding deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Due to the nature of this position, you must have a higher degree (MSc, PhD in Life Sciences, MD or equivalent) coupled with solid medical communications/publications experience gained from working in an agency or in-house role.Candidates must also be fully conversant with the ABPI Code of Practice and have experience of managing writers.Medical Writer, Senior Medical Writer, Medical Editor, Associate Medical Writer, Medical Communications, Medical Comms, Medical Education, Med Ed, Pharmaceuticals, Pharma, London.
