Description
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
Respond to customer inquiries viatelephone(incoming/outgoing), chat, text, and email
Assists and works in tandem with the Sales and Marketing Teams
Support Customer Service Team and Canada Sales Team in performing administrative duties related to customer follow up
Follow up with customers on web orders, backorders and/or other information required for pending orders
Initiate calls to current customers through call campaigns promoting and selling products, services and events
Analyze a customer's service needs and provide a one stop resolution
Research and resolve customer complaints to ensure customer satisfaction
Transfer technical questions through a Messaging System
Place orders, communicates product availability information and track packages
Promote PCCA products, services and events when applicable to customers on incoming calls
Increase sales through mentions and quoting opportunities
Attend seminars and trainings as needed providing support to customers and other PCCA departments
Utilizes a CRM to record activities and opportunities
Maintain a basic understanding of the CA pharmacy community
Process returns and credits within company guidelines
Guide members on our Member's Only Site and provide online support
Submit sourcing requests for the items not currently available on behalf of a customer request
Assist customers who may be interested in PCCA products
Assist with special projects as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
High School Diploma or equivalent
Two years of prior Customer Service or sales experience
Exposure to sales techniques, i.e. up selling and cross selling
Prior experience in a service environment using Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems
Must be a team player and strive to contribute to the success of the team and to the company
Self-motivated and self-starter
Ability to problem solve, multi-task and prioritize responsibilities
Excellent verbal, listening and written communication skills
Ability to effectively communicate in person, via the telephone and in writing, i.e. grammar, spelling, word usage
Excellent interpersonal skills
Ability to pay attention to detail
Ability to be flexible and adapt quickly to change
Experience in the Pharmaceutical, Medical Device, or Life Science industry, a plus
Entry to intermediate level computer skills in Microsoft Word, Outlook and the Internet
Entry level experience in Microsoft Excel, a plus
