We operate a well-established European infrastructure to develop, manufacture and commercialise products.Norgine is growing and we are looking for a Head of Recruitment, which is a newly created position. In this dynamic and varied role you will have ownership of the whole recruitment function. You will be given the opportunity to use all your expertise and natural management skills to build relationships across our European teams. You will be responsible for the development of recruiting plans, employing traditional sourcing strategies as well as developing new innovative recruitment approaches to support our business. You will drive, motivate and engage the internal recruitment team and hiring managers. Furthermore, you will make sure our recruitment process is well established and the end-to-end recruitment cycle is efficiently managed.To be considered for this role you will have demonstrated experience as a proactive and strategic recruiter within an international team. You are able to operate both strategically and operationally, work well in a fast-paced and multi-cultural environment and already managed a team situated in multiple countries. Furthermore, you are creative, driven and a network builder with both candidates and hiring managers. Check full job description below.Job Title:                 Head of Recruitment Location:                 Amsterdam/Harefield/Luzern/Wettenberg/flexibleDepartment:            Human ResourcesReports to:              Chief Human Resources OfficerDirect reports:         Recruitment Consultant, Recruitment Advisor and a Recruitment Co-ordinator  MAIN PURPOSE:The Head of Recruitment is accountable for leading the global recruitment function, inclusive of team leadership, establishment of a global recruitment function, employer brand strategy in conjunction with Corporate Communications. In addition, the Head of Recruitment will also manage and engage in operational recruitment, and efficiently manage the end-to-end recruitment cycle, develop talent pipelines and partner with the leaders, hiring managers and the wider HR team to create a cost-effective recruitment strategy to attract talent.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & ACCOUNTABILITIES: Development and implementation of the Global recruitment and attraction strategyLine management and leadership of the recruitment teamCreates and generates data, metrics and SLAs to demonstrate progress against goals and team deliveryKeep up to date on best practices around candidate sourcing and recruitment strategies, trends and technologyDevelop ongoing professional relationships with leaders and hiring managers across the various client groupsTo lead and drive the employer image and brandManaging third party supplier relationships with agencies, head hunters and other organisationsCreate, design and implement approaches to attracting the best talent across all business areas globallyAd-hoc project design and implementation, such as Graduate recruitment scheme, Applicant Tracking SystemsMAIN TASKS Manage and advise on all aspects of the ‘recruitment lifecycle’ including but not limited to: managing the approval process, creating job descriptions and adverts, providing guidance on appropriate recruitment strategies, job posting, conducting competency based interviews, shortlisting and regular communication with candidates and managersIdentify sources to attract candidates such as job boards, job fairs, social media, headhunting, external agencies and networking.Lead the offer, negotiation, and closing process that is in line with company guidelines and exhibits fairness, professionalism and appealing career propositions to candidatesEnsure all advertising complies with current legislation and internal rules and is managed appropriately both internally and externallyLeveraging innovative and social networking techniques to identify candidates and to build a pipeline of candidates for the business needsWork closely with the HR and Corporate Communications Teams to manage and continuously improve the careers page on Norgine.com and keep under regular review to ensure that it is a creative and effective tool for attracting suitable applicants and enhances Norgine’s employer brandEnsure that all recruitment is recorded and provide accurate reports and metricsKeep accurate documentation related to candidate interactions and status that is in full compliance with all legal and internal requirements RELATIONSHIPS:Internal:Functional headsHiring ManagersCorporate CommunicationsGlobal HR teamExternal:Recruitment agenciesLinkedIn followers and candidatesExternal vendors (as required)SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE Degree qualifiedProven end to end international recruitment experienceExperience of leading teamsAbility to operate both strategically and operationallyPrevious search experience within an agency environment preferredExperience of managing recruitment agency relationshipsExperience of implementing and using Applicant Tracking Systems is an advantageFluent in English and additional European languages will be an advantageBusiness focused and comfortable building strong client relationships quicklySound knowledge of current employment law specific to recruitmentHigh degree of integrity and confidentialityEffective communication skills both oral and writtenAbility to work in a fast paced environment, prioritise workloads & manage multiple requests and relationships internally and externallyProactive and able to work under pressureAbility to problem solve and challenge the status quo (e.g. current processes)Be an ambassador for Norgine Seniority LevelMid-Senior levelIndustryPharmaceuticalsEmployment TypeFull-timeJob FunctionsHuman ResourcesStrategy/Planning
