Associate Director/Director Partner Business(Business Development & Licensing) Essential Duties and Responsibilities:·     Work closely within the Partner Business team and contribute in conceptualizing, designing, developing and implementing strategies for the partner business in the region and executing these in the assigned territory·     Identify potential partners and establish contacts & build relations with key decision makers to win new business in the assigned territory·     Prepare business cases for internal approval·     Promoting brand “Lupin” in Europe/EMEA to create/build sustainable brand recall, thereby facilitating out-licensing and sales of Lupin formulation portfolio/pipeline to target clients in respective territory and manage the process from customers’ interest point until licensing and supply/distributorship agreements are signed·     Work closely with Partner Business portfolio lead and the EMEA Portfolio Management team to define portfolio (pipeline) needs for the assigned territory·     Negotiate licensing and supply/distributorship agreements/contracts with clients·     Work closely with legal team to finalise the CDAs, licensing and supply/distributorship agreements/contracts·     Contribute to market access options/possibilities, Lupin’s strategy, commercial strategy and regulatory strategy/plan and then take responsibility for executing the commercial/licensing strategy for the assigned territory·     Build and maintain strong external network·     Responsible for the budgeting and mini-P&L for the respective partner business accounts/assigned territory by being actively involved throughout the projects’/deals’ lifecycle (including finalizing deals, product launches and post launch alliance management etc.)·     Maximise sales and profit for respective accounts/assigned territory·     Responsible for implementing and contributing to the partner business strategies in the respective markets/assigned territory·     Contribute to improving internal processes with respect to Partner Business·     Take responsibility for any ad-hoc duties/activities as requested by business from time to time·     Represent Lupin in select conferencesQualifications & Role Requirements:·     Relevant background in life science or new business development (university degree), MBA preferred·     10 years of pharmaceutical business development & licensing experience within Europe·     Strong planning, organization, prioritization, analytical & negotiation skills and understanding of pharmaceutical licensing landscape in Europe/EMEA·     A strong team player with ability to execute deals independently·     Excellent communication, presentation skills and ability to manage internal and external stakeholders·     Passion and desire to achieve challenging targets·     Open-minded, creative, self-motivated and willing to learn·     Strong business network in Europe and willing to travel in the territory·     Very good English and at least one other European language is an advantageInterested?
