Job descriptionDepartmentBiochemistryJob TypePerm Posted21/05/2019Closing04/06/2019Salary GradeCompetitive Job BandCDetailsQuality Manager - BiochemistryAn exciting opportunity has become available at BPL for a Manager to lead the Biochemistry department within the Quality Control Function.Key responsibilities to include;Reporting directly to the Head of Quality Control, you will provide management and leadership to BPL's Biochemistry departmentEnsure the Laboratory is delivering results as required for lot release, product stability and validation activities.Deliver the strategic people plan to include delivering training plans, career development, headcount forecasting, recruitment activities and managing working arrangementsDirect line management for the Team Leaders and Technical Specialists within the department ensuring capital and operational expenditure are in line with the budget.Lead long term strategic projects within the Biochemistry department and across the site.Define and ensure the delivery of departmental objectives through the Biochemistry teamExperience to make you successful in the role;You'll be experienced in leading and managing teams to deliver departmental goals, ideally with a Biochemistry background, with proven success of leading and developing a team.
