Job Description
Lead and establish an efficient and effective PM, trouble shooting, repairs program and project management. Ensure Finishing production equipment and machinery in the plant achieves maximum availability. 2. Work with Frontline Support crew constantly review and analyze current equipment performance to identify and propose potential improvement opportunity on system / equipment, in order, but not limited to, enhance machine serviceability, reduce downtime, increase throughput, reduce rejects and cut down running cost. 3. To investigate the process and quality failure resulted from equipment/process related problem and provide permanent solution to fix them. To carry out the change request and evaluate the change effects on validated process. 4. Provide engineering support to Production, Engineering and QC in terms of process improvement, repairs, troubleshooting of automation and control system, calibration and process validation. 5. Participate in cost reduction, cost saving, machine set-up and improve efficiency of PM and machines repairs time. To out-sourcing and evaluating new technology innovations which lead to increase of machines efficiency and product quality. 6. Promote effective communication with associates across all shifts and ensure efficient shift hand-over and effective start-up meeting. Motivate and cultivate positive mindset and ethical among EQE staffs and optimize individual performance to the company. 7. To plan and ensure sufficient spare part availability for the use of PM and trouble shooting activities. Ensure adequate measures are taken to manage obsolescent spare parts to prevent any machine down time due to spare parts. 8. Design and write engineering study protocol and execute the protocols which include data collection, analysis and provide recommendation if further improvement is required 9. To participate and promote environmental activities. To conduct aspect impact and implement according to the environmental management system plan. 10. To monitor environmental management system according to the ISO 14001 standard. 11. Adherence to Novartis values
