Your Responsibilities Include, But Not Limited To
Applies area strategies and drives the creation of business plans for assigned territory; leads execution of the business plans through a team of Sales Representatives and delivers the required financial results.
Build effective and enduring customer relationships; identifies and works closely with key customers and medical experts in the Area.
Lead a high-performing team of Sales Representatives; hires, trains and develops Sales Representatives as necessary; inspires Sales Representatives to meet and exceed sales objectives.
Provide frequent and consistent coaching and feedback for Sales Representatives, supported by a coaching model.
Map and assess overall team coaching and performance, coordinating all coaching efforts and creating a plan to be discussed in business reviews.
Develop individual plans with Sales Representatives, using a coaching tool to capture notes from coaching time spent with Sales Representatives.
Lead and coach Sales Representatives in the proper and most effective use of new technologies and channels.
Manage and optimize effective allocation of resources to deliver required business results.
Work effectively with Key Accounts, Key Account Managers (KAMs), and with colleagues across other functions/units within General Medicines to achieve business results.
Develop in-depth understanding of the area market environment and of customers and stakeholders; communicates customer insights to internal stakeholders and supports development of new business strategies; identifies top business opportunities or gaps through analysis of available reports.
Ensure that Sales Representatives possess and apply required disease state and product knowledge across a range of therapeutic areas to improve professional customer relationships and achieve sales goals.
Serve as a communication bridge from Senior Management to Sales Representatives.
Support training and professional development of Sales Representatives.
Support Sales training programs and other capability development initiatives as appropriate.
