Responsibilities

• • Maintain a high level of QMS knowledge and awareness of changes within the commercial environment to seek opportunities and manage potential business adversity.
  • Gain an understanding of the Supply Chain and Commercial Business and Quality Plans as they potentially link in to day-to-day activities and quality improvement activities.
  • Supporting the Quality Manager to ensure a robust, sustainable and effective QMS (Quality Management Systems) through monitoring and reviewing the compliance status within the LOC element of the Supply Chain.
  • Support the implementation and maintenance of effective Quality Assurance Systems to ensure that local operations are in full compliance with our standards and policies, GMP, GDP and regulatory requirements
  • Support the Quality Manager to ensure that all internal procedures and systems in use are compliant to the QMS and local regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• • The successful candidate will have a minimum of a science degree from a reputable university and at least a minimum of 3 years in a Pharmaceutical / Consumer Healthcare industry, preferably in the capacity of a senior quality specialist or a manager.
  • The candidate must have an understanding of and experience in Quality Assurance Systems particularly in the areas of batch release, product incidents, artwork control and performing audits. The candidate will also need to have knowledge of regulatory requirements pertaining to GMP / GDP and on effective Quality Documentation Systems.
  • The potential candidate should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills with sound judgement and assessment of the work processes.
