Position Overview

The Business Development Associate is a key member of the Sales team that is responsible for developing a pipeline of new sales opportunities, managing and qualifying inbound leads, collaborating with Marketing on lead generation, and supporting management of select key accounts.

Duties Include But Are Not Limited To

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Contribute to sales growth by contacting and building relationships with new and existing clients
Maintain pipeline of new business opportunities and accounts
Qualify new sales leads and assign opportunity/account lead
Utilize all available resources to reach out to prospects and attempt to turn those prospects into customers
Present to new prospects with potential to lead select opportunities
Conduct market research and explore new business opportunities
Assist with the development of marketing materials and analyze business competition
New client relationships and strengthen existing client relationships to forge new opportunities
Recommending new business opportunities to Director and VP of Sales
Account management for select key accounts
Research and identify target markets, build new relationships, perform in-depth presentations, strategic analysis, and execution of implemented plans
Collaborate with Marketing team in lead generation efforts, message positioning, and conference and prospect development efforts
Effectively leverage company resources/tools to maximize business results (marketing materials, speaker programs, regional trade shows)
Demonstrate a high level of accountability for all administrative tasks (CRM utilization, weekly reports, etc.)
Establishing and maintaining industry and client contacts for continuing good relations and business opportunity development
Collaborate with and present to internal senior management and functional managers as relevant
